Diana was born in Waikerie, South Australia in 1943. In 1973 she was introduced to the art of Porcelain Painting. Her personal quest for a sense of achievement in the art world has led her to study under the likes of Australian Teachers, Barbara Collingwood, Margaret Dixon, Josephine Robinson and Trixie Emery and International artists such as Jean Sadler, Mary Patusky, Paula Collins from the USA, Derek Jones from Worcester Factory in the UK and Peter Faust from Switzerland.                                                                      During this time Diana Enjoyed a total of 15 years teaching the art of porcelain on-glaze painting to a wide range of students from many varied lifestyles.                                                                                                         In the past 10 years she has focused on further developing her own style and expanding to mediums such as water-colour and acrylic.                                                                                                                        Diana is proud to say that she has successfully exhibited at Grandeur House and Potoroo at Southgate in Melbourne, Convent Gallery in Victoria and Anthill Gallery in Broken Hill, Storison's in Handorf, House of Prints and Tomlinson's Fine art Gallery in Adelaide.                                                                                              Since then she has been a regular invited guest to exhibit at exhibitions at Porter Street Wildlife Gallery in Goolwa, South Australia.                                                                                                                             In the years 2001 - 2004, Diana has exhibited in the prestigious Heral-Sun Camberwell Art Show and has won three 1st prizes and one 2nd prize in the porcelain section of framed on-glaze and again took out the prize in 2006. With encouragement from Mr Herman Thumm and his wife Inge, Diana has held successful solo exhibitions at their Chateau Yaldara since 1988. After selling Chateau Yaldara, Mr Thumm built the new beautiful new "Chateau Barrosa" in the Barossa Valley and again supported her by asking her to be their rose and floral artist. Mr Thumm has now encouraged her to produce her first limited edition prints.

                                                                                                                                                            Pauline is primarily a self-taught artist who has experimented with many mediums. After obtaining a Design Arts Certificate with a distinction for painting, she started concentrating on using acrylics where she enjoys great use of texture and colour in her paintings.                                                                                                           Her works are a combination of shape, line, texture and colour, harmoniously intertwined to captivate the imagination of the viewer.                                                                                                                            Pauline also paints smaller more intimate studies of Australian Wildlife in either acrylic or pastel.                      She has exhibited in prominant South Australian art exhibitions and the Camberwell Herald-Sun exhibition. She also has works in the USA and England.
